My Free RPG's

I have pulled out my favorite games and created separate links for them to the right. The list below contains everything I have done and I have left this available in the interest of completeness, but I do recommend you check the links to the right first.

Here are links to all of my Free RPG's - These are Google Docs archive links that open in Google reader. Google reader works, but I highly recommend downloading anything you want to peruse and then reading it locally.
Everything is here, even some fairly sketchy projects. I think the best of the best here are A+ Fantasy, Hi/Lo Heroes, Powers Brawl, and Five by Five. Not sure about Xceptional my latest project. After completing it I have been questioning whether I like how it came out. Let me know what you think.

    1. Hi! This may be a dumb question, but did you write the one-page game HEX? I just found it on 1km1kt and am eager to try it out.
      And in case you didn't write it...keep up the good work anyway! ;)

    3. Soo, I gave it a go yesterday. Made it to the second level, killed the 1st level boss not once but TWICE (yes, that's how bad ass I am). Unfortunately, I found the exit way too soon, gaining only 15 or so experience points.

      But overall, a fun little gem that's easily expanded! Thanks for sharing it!

      (How about that, a review that's four years late... :) )

    5. ZeFRS is so cool!

      As another raging fanboy for the original Marvel Superheroes RPG, it's nice to see the elegance of that system turned to other purposes.

    9. Jeff - just wanted to drop you a line and say thanks for the A+ Fantasy! So simple yet so awesome!

      I saw somewhere that you were planning a rewrite. Are you still considering this?

    10. Currently my focus has been on Five by Five and it's continued evolution. If I do a revised version of A+ it would likely use Five by Five as the basis for it's game system, but that's not in the works right now.

    11. You are so awesome! I have been reading and learning every system I can get my hands on and yours is by far the simplest. It gets so much of the drudgery out of the way and gives gaming a sense of possibility and fresh air.
